We are all equal! For women's rights
Why we workIn the countries in the south of the world, girls devote their lives to caring for their families and to domestic activities. They are systematically excluded from schooling and as adults have no way of finding work, moving away from their families and guaranteeing themselves independence and their children a better future.
Our aimsIn 1979, the UN General Meeting adopted the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women.
Inspired by the principals of the Convention, Intervita develops specific projects for women in the 13 countries in which we are present. We do this in a bid to protect the rights of women at the same time as fighting domestic violence and sexual exploitation.
Where we work
