TO ENHANCE THE LOCAL ECONOMY THROUGH THE STRENGTHENING OF SKILLS AND THE EQUIPPING OF TOOLS ALLOWING FAMILIES AND COMMUNITIES TO DEVELOP THEIR LIVES INDEPENDENTLY AND IN A SUSTAINABLE FASHION
STRATEGIC LINE 1. Promotion of employment and entrepreneurship
To encourage, through education and training, the integration of the younger beneficiaries and adolescents in the labour market, both as entrepreneurs and employees.
1.1. Training for employment
- To strengthen the basic skills of reading, writing, mathematical calculation and communication
- To encourage ITC training with courses on the use of the major computer tools for offices
- To design continuous training courses for beneficiaries with incomplete profiles, the unemployed or under-employed
- To set up alliances with the private sector to promote training periods in companies
- To provide professional guidance and information for beneficiaries, to facilitate the choice of training and the search for a job
- To coordinate the Intervita training offer with the offer of local training and jobs
1.2. To learn to be an entrepreneur
To promote and transmit attitudes strengthening the entrepreneurial spirit amongst the younger generation. These attitudes will also be useful for all future professional development of beneficiaries.
1.3. Business simulations
To develop realistic scenarios of business simulation that help with the practical and decisional learning in managerial contexts.
STRATEGIC LINE 2. To make the micro-entrepreneurial context dynamic
To transmit interest, generate capacity and support the start-up and consolidation of micro-entrepreneurial initiatives amongst the younger generation. To encourage local production through training, support to marketing, creation of value and/or encouraging diversification.
2.1. Training and management of the micro-undertaking
- To combine and coordinate with regional, national and international organisations, the basic specific skills necessary in finance, business management, market analysis, savings management and marketing
- To promote the use of tutors and e-tutors to strengthen the efficiency of learning, professional guidance and the start-up of micro-entrepreneurial initiatives with teachers specialised in specific areas of interest
- To develop access mechanisms to specialised micro-credit institutes, supporting above all the development of action plans and the negotiation of credit conditions
2.2. Marketing and permanent establishment on the market
- To support, during the early months of business, the micro-entrepreneurial initiatives during negotiations with suppliers and customers
- To facilitate access to information for regular market analyses and decisions with regard to prices, quantities and sales outlets
- To help define market penetration and marketing strategies aimed at making products more competitive
2.3. Diversification and value chain
- To support the diversification and improvement of profitability of production of deficit goods or services
- To apply transformations that add value to products to increase their profitability and encourage the transfer of technologies.
