Strategic lines of intervention
8 strategic sectors have been identified and defined: 4 have been identified as basic sectors, and therefore priority, and 4 are considered transversal.
Basic sectors: primary education, basic health, food safety, economic development.
Transversal sectors: environment, gender disparity, children’s rights, community participation.
Of the 4 basic sectors, the first two (primary education and basic health), are considered general, compulsory sectors in all interventions funded with SAD, as access to education and basic health are the two “guarantees” promised to all Intervita Onlus supporters, and are part of the “ethical contract” with our supporters.
Of the 4 transversal sectors, the community participation is certainly the most important and cannot be ignored in any of the Intervita cooperation initiatives.
